The next International Management Meeting will take place in Friedrichshafen, Lake Constance.

The lake lies where the countries of Austria, Germany and Switzerland meet. There is no legally binding agreement as to where the borders lie between the three countries. (extract Wikipedia)

The most convenient airports are (in the listed order):

  • Zurich (ZRH): 120 km - 2 hours by car or 2:30 hours by ferry

  • Stuttgart (STR): 190km - 2:15 hours

  • Memmingen (FMM): 100 km - 1:15 hours

  • Basel (BSL): 180 km - up to 3 hours

I will provide some information on the transfer options nearer the time of the event.

The most beautiful way to get to Friedrichshafen

For those who arrive in Zurich and are not too tired, the most beautiful way to get to Friedrichshafen is by ferry which operates all year round.

I trust you will not witness a "Seegfrörne", i.e. a partially or completely frozen lake which happens more or less once in a century.
